Prince Charles talks to the Rain Forests in Indonesia

Prince Charles has during his visit to Indonesia has visited the Rain Forests there in a bid to make the world aware of the importance of making sure these forests survive. Here are some of the comments Prince Charles made about saving the Rain Forests around the world from The Sun newspaper.

The rainforest's are among the few ways that nature turns the harmful gas back
into oxygen. The Prince said:

These forests, therefore, act as giant global
utilities, providing
essential public services to the whole of humanity.

They are the world’s air-conditioning system — the very lungs of the planet.
In simple terms the rainforest's are our very own life-support system - and
we are on the verge of switching them off.
