Prince William grows a beard whilst Kate Middleton takes part in bird kill

Prince William & Kate Middleton have been photographed together for the first time in months, not having a romantic dinner or visiting a London nightclub, but during a shooting party in the fields of Sandringham.

Sporting a beard, Wills and his on-off girlfriend were photographed by paps who were standing on public road, delighting in shooting birds at the Queen's Christmas residence. Donning her now infamous fur hat, Middleton took aim and shot at anything with feathers. Along with the pair was Prince Harry and an unidentified woman.

A source told the News of the World about William's beard: “He has been back about a week and knew it was only a matter of time before someone spotted him. Everyone has been saying it makes him look like some of the old British kings. No one is sure if he’s going to keep it. But it’s here for now.”

A spokesman for Animal Aid Charity was disappointed to see Kate Middleton shooting pheasant, telling the Mail on Sunday: ‘It’s depressing that Kate should be drawn into the Royal habit of killing for fun. There is no tradition of shooting in her family, yet she is now senselessly taking the lives of birds. It seems that you cannot enter the Royal Family’s inner circle without spilling blood for pleasure.’

Kate Middleton watches another waiting "princess"

Kate Middleton takes notes on how to wait from Sleeping Beauty.

With families around the world tightening their belts and being unable to take part in their normal evenings of entertainment, it seems that Kate Middleton is indulging as usual.

According to the Day & Night column in the Daily Express, Kate was seen watching the England National Ballet's "Sleeping Beauty" at the Coliseum in Covent Garden.

The ballet, which has a rather short run of a week and a half, tells the tale of beautiful Princess Aurora who was the victim of an evil spell cast upon her by a nasty fairy. Eventhough the Princess was saved by a good fairy, she was doomed to sleep for 100 years...WAITING...until her handsome prince came along, kissed her and then became her husband. Perhaps Kate was taking notes?

Prince William reportedly invites Kate Middleton to Sandringham

Howdy-ho-ho! Kate could bring the turkey!

Prince William has reportedly asked his granny's permission to shack up with Kate Middleton during the Christmas break. According to the Daily Star's much maligned Clive Goodman, HM is pleased with the pair sharing a "lovenest" during the festive season.

MrGoodman writes: 'Prince William has asked the Queen’s permission to spend Christmas in a lovenest with Kate Middleton. Wills, 26, wants to use a remote shooting lodge on his gran’s Sandringham estate to celebrate the festive season with his own Christmas cracker. Normally Kate, also 26, spends the holiday with her parents at a rented stately home in Perthshire. But William wants to relax with her before starting a year of intensive training as an RAF helicopter pilot.'

A friend of the couple tells Mr Goodman: “This could be his last Christmas with Kate for some time. His training and rescue duties are going to take him away from home so he would like to make this Christmas special for her. They could still share Christmas Day with his father and the rest of the family at the main house but return to their own world in the evening.” Aw...Bless them.

After making the Kate apologists all misty eyed, Mr Goodman then puts the boot into Middleton and her family: 'The Queen is thought to be perfectly happy about the arrangement. But some courtiers have raised their eyebrows. They feel there should be no special treatment of Kate unless she and William formalise their relationship with an engagement. One confided: “If you make an exception for one, why not for everyone? Frankly, many people feel that Miss Middleton and her family are quite pushy enough.”' Indeed!

Carole Middleton blabs to the press

Pictured: ‘Vulnerable’ Carole Middleton happily poses for photographers with Kate.

After years of ‘sources’ and ‘friends’ being the Middleton’s unofficial mouthpiece to the British press, Kate Middleton’s mother Carole has now spoken directly to the press by allowing herself to be quoted in the Mandrake column in the Daily Telegraph.

Whilst attending the Hennessy Gold Cup at Newbury, no doubt invited due to her being Kate Middleton’s mother, Carole Middleton used the opportunity to inform the press she feels “vulnerable” from all the attention Katy Waity’s relationship with Prince William has brought. A tad rich coming from a woman who trotted along to Prince William’s passing out parade at Sandringham looking more royal than royalty. Indeed, it seems that Carole or Mrs Meddleton now wants to play the victim:

"You see, I feel very vulnerable about everything," she told Mandrake last weekend at the Hennessy Gold Cup, at Newbury racecourse, just a few miles from her house in Berkshire. "I'm not a celebrity and don't want to be one. Celebrities have minders and PR people. I don't want a PR person and wouldn't want to have to pay to employ one. I haven't asked for all this."

Carole also used the opportunity to dispell the infamous chewing gum rumour when she supposedly met the Queen. The fact Carole decided to let slip this little detail about the Queen has left many royal watchers questioning if William and Kate are still together.

Did Prince William break up Paris and Benji?

Pictured: William and Paris? It started with a text.

It was almost inevitable. But speculation is now rife amongst some parts of the media that Prince William was the cause of the recent split between Paris Hilton and Benji Madden of the band Good Charlotte. Benji was said to be “furious” over newspaper reports that Prince William planned to spend News Years Eve with Paris.

Prince William visits Cardiff

Pictured: Prince William opens a new media centre.

It was a busy day for Prince William today as he took on two public duties. Firstly, opening a Media Wales’ new media centre in Cardiff. And then later going on to watch a rugby match between Wales and South Africa where he was joined by Prince Seeiso of Lesotho.

RAF was mislead over William's flights earlier on this year.

The Telegraph from the UK reveals that the RAF was apparently mislead over the Chinook incidents earlier on this year. Where as we know Prince William flew those helicopters on a couple of joy rides, to his onff girlfriend Kate Middleton, and then flew himself and his brother to his cousins stag party on the Isle of Wight.

RAF mislead over William's flights.

The document reveals that:

* William's five trips cost the taxpayer £86,434.
* William did not tell
Chinook crew or his station commander the true nature of the social events.
* The officers responsible for William's care were "counselled" over "errors
in judgement".
* Senior officers were reminded of their "supervisory
duties".
* All training flights planned by William were regarded as
"contentious" by RAF.

The Telegraph also has another article on the whole incident which the Telegraph stats is just another one of the controversies the Royals find themselves in when it comes to flying.

Another article on it.

William and Kate: relationship under "strain"

Pictured: William and Kate in happier times.
Picture courtesy of the Daily Express

After Katie Nicholl reported in her column for the Daily Mail on Sunday, that William and Kate’s ongoing ONFF relationship has had yet another “wobble”. Fresh reports have now emerged in the Daily Express of more “strain” on the couples ill-chosen relationship, which is hardly the royal romance of the century.

William and Kate apparently had a right royal falling out over those pictures of Kate flat on her back in all her roller skate disco glory. It seems William, like the rest of us, was not at all impressed with Kate’s conduct or her lacklustre attempt at charity. But it seems that far from growing a pair and dumping Kate the girl who likes to wait, William has holed up with Kate and some friends in Scotland on yet another make or break holiday.

“William went out deer-stalking with friends at the party, who included his old chum and mentor Mark Dyer, a former Welsh Guards officer.”

Kate however was more keen on laying low after being photographed breaking the law at the beginning of October. She is said to be “embarrassed” over the photographs showing her talking on her mobile phone whilst driving, although there has been no reports of Kate being sorry or regretful instead it appears her only issue is how this has made her look, yes Kate you look like an idiot.

Kate Middleton has been promoted at Party Pieces

Kate is now "cyber-chief" at Party Pieces.

Although there has been no news on the police investigation into Kate being photgraphed breaking the law by driving whilst talking on her mobile phone, there has been news from the Middleton camp on Kate's glowing career working for her parents company Party Pieces. An un named source revealed to Adam Heliker writing in his column for the Sunday Express, that after completing not one but two, short courses in computing Kate has now been promoted from compiling and editing catalogues to the dizzying heights of "website design editor and new business manager". It seems it didn't take much for Kate to impress her bosses who also happen to be her parents.

will she or wont she be there?

Okay, so now it's definitely not quiet on the Middleton front after some much welcomed silence of late.

It's funny how the silence it always broken by the Kate side of things. According to Katie Nicholls of the Daily Mail, she has been assured apparently that Kate will be at Prince Charles's Highgrove birthday party, and that there was a "Wobble" in her relationship with William and everything is okay now.

A "Wobble" someone pointed out to me that it was an odd expression to use? Could it be another way of saying that the relationship in on an off phase? Or was in an off phase? Or is there more to come?

Ohhh the drama! Stay tuned for more of the Will and Kate Years on the Royal Truth Blog and Forum.

Pippa the singleton is top of the tree according to Tatler magazine!

Just when we thought it was all quiet on the Middleton front, the Daily Mail today writes an article on Kate’s younger sister Pippa. That according the Tatler magazine Pippa is the most eligible single person on the social scene.

For those who don't know, Pippa Middleton is the younger sister of Kate Middleton who is the on or off girlfriend of Prince William.

I wonder and a few others are too, whether Pippa’s big sister Kate will be on that list next year?Or will Kate along side with Pippa be forgotten by the press this time next year?

For more discussion of this it can be found at the Royal Truth Forum.

The blonde posse who trekked with Prince William

Blonde Posse: Gentleman Wills has been
helping the girls out with their riding skills.
Pictures courtesy of Belga Pictures.

The Daily Star has outed one of 3 sisters who has formed a 'flirty' friendship with Prince William during the Enduro Africa Trek. The British tabloid reports: 'PRINCE William enjoyed flirting with a blonde babe on his charity bike ride. But his friendship with Amanda Johnson looks certain to be left out of a film covering his and Prince Harry’s South African adventure. But there were some moments William and Harry won’t want to be shown, including William’s flirty antics with biker Amanda.'

According to the Daily Star, Miss Johnson is doing the trek along with her 2 sisters, Rebecca & Kirsty, and was the girl who Prince William helped up a hill at the beginning of the adventure. The Daily Star reports: 'She was travelling with her two sisters and asked for the prince’s help to climb a steep bank. But after he’d pushed her to the top, she stalled the bike and ran straight back, knocking William off his feet. Later William and Amanda were spotted getting cosy on a ferry ride across the croc-infested Kei River.'

An onlooker told the Daily Star: “She was very embarrassed and apologised like mad but William smiled, dusted himself down and said he was fine. She was covered in dirt and dust like the rest of us but she’s a really pretty girl. Nobody else got a look in.”

Prince Harry in reckless stunt

Sure to attract some unwanted press attention, Prince Harry has been photographed pulling a reckless stunt on his motorbike during the 2nd last day of the Enduro Trek. The photographs show Harry sitting backwards on his bike, revving and spinning it's tyres and posing for a photograph.

Prince William looks on rather unimpressed.

Belga Pictures.

For his part, William look decidely unimpressed with his brothers antics. Standing with a group of men who appeared to be police protection officers and Shaun Davy, Wills didn't seem to be enjoying the stunt as much as Harry and his mates. He then spotted the paps, looking even less impressed.
