"Bad taste" ad featuring late Queen Mother is pulled

Pizzeria Hell’s Pizza was forced to pull an ad campaign which was meant to be shown this Halloween, as it featured animations of deceased public figures including the late Queen Mother, dancing around a grave yard.

The advert which was put on Hell’s Pizza’s website two days before Halloween has been removed after receiving criticism from the son of the late Sir Edmund Hillary who was also featured in the video, who described it as “disturbing” and “grotesque”.

Kate Middleton has been promoted at Party Pieces

Kate is now "cyber-chief" at Party Pieces.

Although there has been no news on the police investigation into Kate being photgraphed breaking the law by driving whilst talking on her mobile phone, there has been news from the Middleton camp on Kate's glowing career working for her parents company Party Pieces. An un named source revealed to Adam Heliker writing in his column for the Sunday Express, that after completing not one but two, short courses in computing Kate has now been promoted from compiling and editing catalogues to the dizzying heights of "website design editor and new business manager". It seems it didn't take much for Kate to impress her bosses who also happen to be her parents.

Okay, so now it's definitely not quiet on the Middleton front after some much welcomed silence of late.

It's funny how the silence it always broken by the Kate side of things. According to Katie Nicholls of the Daily Mail, she has been assured apparently that Kate will be at Prince Charles's Highgrove birthday party, and that there was a "Wobble" in her relationship with William and everything is okay now.

A "Wobble" someone pointed out to me that it was an odd expression to use? Could it be another way of saying that the relationship in on an off phase? Or was in an off phase? Or is there more to come?

Pippa the singleton is top of the tree according to Tatler magazine!

Just when we thought it was all quiet on the Middleton front, the Daily Mail today writes an article on Kate’s younger sister Pippa. That according the Tatler magazine Pippa is the most eligible single person on the social scene.

For those who don't know, Pippa Middleton is the younger sister of Kate Middleton who is the on or off girlfriend of Prince William.

I wonder and a few others are too, whether Pippa’s big sister Kate will be on that list next year?Or will Kate along side with Pippa be forgotten by the press this time next year?

Prince Harry the Gurkha?

Prince Harry has been unofficially honoured by being given a special combat knife called a Kukri. The Gurkhas also bestowed upon Harry, the title of Honorary Gurkha.

Captain Surya Gurung told The Sun: “We don’t normally give it as a present to people. Those who we give it to, it’s because they have earned it themselves. They gave it to the Prince because of his support, friendship and work with us. For us it’s not necessarily because he is a Prince, it was because he was so liked by the soldiers. He contributed to the camp and raised the morale of the boys. He should consider himself hereafter a Gurkha. I see him as a Gurkha officer because he was there in that particular time of operations in the front line - that really mattered.”

Crown Princess Victoria booed on Indian flight

Crown Princess Victoria was probably not used to the negative reception she received when boarding a plane back to Sweden at New Delhi.

The Princess was taken to the wrong terminal by officials, meaning that the plane she was meant to fly on, with a full complement of passengers onboard, had to wait for her. When they were told of the VIP presence they were also told that there would be a delay whilst her 10 additional bags were loaded. This caused the plane to erupt into a howl of booes.

A Jet Airway's spokesperson said: "The princess was taken to the wrong terminal by the government protocol personnel. The princess was carrying at least ten bags with her, which had delayed the flight. We on our part have apologized to the princess.”
