Pippa Middleton attends Claridge’s cocktail party

Kate Middleton’s younger sister, Pippa, proved her ability to hang around the rich and famous wasn’t just limited to the British royal family, as she tagged along to a cocktail party at Claridge’s last night, attended by the likes of Rod Stewart and Mick Jagger’s jewellery designer daughter Jade. Wearing what can only be described as a bright blue sack and with her face showing all the fatigue signs of someone who has attended one too many society parties, Pippa showed up at the event with a male companion who it has been speculated could possibly be her current boyfriend (and if so is probably titled.)

Princess Marie expecting first child

It was announced yesterday on the official website of the Danish royal family that Prince Joachim and Princess Marie of Denmark are expecting their first child together. This will be the first child for Marie, and the third for Joachim who already has two sons Princes Nikolai and Felix from his previous marriage to Alexandra Manley.

The birth is expected to take place in May 2009.

British royals attend Remembrance Day service

The Queen, accompanied by senior members of the British royal families including the Duke of Edinburgh and Princes Charles and William, led tributes to Britain’s war dead this Remembrance Day at the Cenotaph in London’s Whitehall. The royals were joined by thousands of veteran servicemen who marched past the Cenotaph, as the Queen laid the first poppy wreath to commemorate all of those who gave their lives fighting for their country.

Prince William visits Cardiff

It was a busy day for Prince William today as he took on two public duties. Firstly, opening a Media Wales’ new media centre in Cardiff. And then later going on to watch a rugby match between Wales and South Africa where he was joined by Prince Seeiso of Lesotho.

RAF was mislead over William's flights earlier on this year.

The Telegraph from the UK reveals that the RAF was apparently mislead over the Chinook incidents earlier on this year. Where as we know Prince William flew those helicopters on a couple of joy rides, to his onff girlfriend Kate Middleton, and then flew himself and his brother to his cousins stag party on the Isle of Wight.

The document reveals that:

* William's five trips cost the taxpayer £86,434.
* William did not tell
Chinook crew or his station commander the true nature of the social events.
* The officers responsible for William's care were "counselled" over "errors
in judgement".
* Senior officers were reminded of their "supervisory
duties".
* All training flights planned by William were regarded as
"contentious" by RAF.

A small snippet in Richard Kay’s column for the Daily Mail has revealed how James Middleton tries his luck with the ladies. At a party Kate’s unfortunate looking younger brother, was overheard gushing to a pretty brunette “There’s one of my cakes in the goody bag.” How vomit inducing!

Boss of Prince Harry's charity Sentebale to leave

The Daily Mail reports the boss of Sentebale has been made redundant.

According to the Daily Mail, Geoffrey Matthews the boss of Prince Harry’s charity for Aids orphans in Africa is to be made redundant shortly before Christmas. Sources have revealed the reason behind the decision to let the former Irish Guards officer go, is due to Prince William’s decision to stay in the military for longer than expected:

It’s very unfortunate, particularly as he will be leaving so close to Christmas. But the household cannot afford to keep someone on when there isn’t work for them to do.
